The top marksman at Euro 2008

Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal

Early winger burst on the international stage, when only 19 when he scored two goals at Euro 2004 and was named to the team of the tournament. Ronaldo is now widely recognized as the best player in the world, a title that supports 36 goals he has scored this season for Manchester United. This includes 10 goals in his last 11 Champions League games and 26 goals with six Premier League games yet.

During Euro 2008Skills, he scored 8 goals, his pace, tricks and the ability to score from anywhere is fear in defenders across Europe supported. Ronaldo has made 20 goals in 54 international matches.

Fernando Torres - Spain

The 23-year-old Liverpool striker has blossomed this season, scoring-21 Premier League goals so far, and four in his last four Champions League appearances has. Torres his international debut at just 19 and has won national team 46 times,scored 15 goals, including 3 goals in the FIFA 2006 World Cup.

Spain is hoping that the talisman striker his sparkling club form onto the international stage at Euro 2008 can be transmitted.

Thierry Henry - France

FC Barcelona, Henry has enjoyed an outstanding international career spans more than a decade. He arrived at the World Cup in 1998 as a relatively unknown, but at the end of the tournament as top scorer in France with 3 goals. Henry scored 3 times at 2000 euros and twice atEuro 2004, and at the 2006 World Cup he was one of 10 candidates for player of the tournament.
